Our collaborative study realized with Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) & TU Kaiserslautern called “Prediction of Lifted Weight Category Using EEG Equipped Headgear" was presented at the IEEE-EMBS International Conference on Biomedical and Health Informatics jointly organised with the IEEE-EMBS International conference on Wearable and Implantable Body Sensor Networks organized in Ioannina, Greece between 27-30 September 2022.

EEG data from two equipments have been acquired from different participants while they lift different weigths of loads in this study. It has been shown that different category of weigths result in difference in EEG data by analyzing data. While doing this, different deep learning methods together with different machine learning methods were used in this study. It has been evaluated that our approach to predict different categories of lifted weight could be used in further optimizations in different research areas such as rehabilitation, sport as well as industrial applications. This joint study was conducted within our HumanE-AI-Net Project and will be published in IEEE IEL and IEEE Xplore.
