An Innovative Step from Safir Depo: 2024 Update Released

Safir Depo, the national and secure cloud storage service that has been developed within the TÜBİTAK BİLGEM Cloud Computing and Big Data Research Laboratory since 2016, is ready to offer a more advanced experience to its users by undergoing a significant transformation with its latest update. Safir Depo, which was initially offered only as a storage area, has taken important steps towards turning into a user-friendly platform in line with the feedback it received and continuous improvement activities. This process played a critical role in terms of sustainability and quality of service. As a result of a comprehensive update and maintenance work published as of 2024, Safir Depo appears with an almost completely renewed interface design. The new interface has been designed to provide a user-friendly experience and aims to meet expectations more effectively. With this major transformation, the Desktop client app, which has been available since 2018, has ended service. This decision was taken to focus Safir Depo's focus on its mobile applications and new web interface. Safir Depo will transform into a more stable system that will adapt to future trends and offer fast and secure access to its users with mobile applications and new web technologies.
